The RDS In Dublin

The Royal Dublin Society has become a major venue for exhibitions, conferences and business and social gatherings of all sizes. The Main Arena, previously limited to equestrian events, now hosts rugby and soccer matches.

The venue has hosted a number of concerts over the years and some of the acts to perform here include Bruce Springsteen, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Kylie Minogue and Tina Turner to name a few.

The RDS is home to Leinster Rugby with many of their games being played at the venue including games from the Pro 14 and Heineken Cup.

A variety of exhibitions take place throughout the year in the RDS, we would recommend keeping an eye on the RDS website for upcoming exhibitions and booking your tickets in advance.

The Dublin Horse Show at The RDS

The Dublin Horse Show is the one of highlights of the Irish summer and runs for five days running from Wednesday - Saturday every year in August. With an array of national & international show jumping competitions and world class equestrian entertainment, great shopping, music & fantastic daily entertainment. Ladies Day usually takes place on the Thursday and is the perfect excuse to dress up, have day out with the girls and maybe even take home the coveted prize of best dressed.

The Red Cow Moran Hotel is located 10.2km and is only a 20 minute drive without traffic from the RDS in Dublin. The hotel is serviced by the luas tram which is just a 6 minute walk away. The tram leaves you to Connolly station where you can get the DART to Sandymount.
